Started in 1846, Vermont State Fair is a 5-day fair set to be held on Aug 18-22, 2026 at the Vermont State Fairgrounds which is located in Rutland, Vermont and organized by Rutland County Agricultural Society. Over 45,000 people around the region are expected to visit the fair. It features educational and agricultural events, various competitions and contests, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This is the 180th edition of the event.
