Started in 1893, Altamont Fair is a 6-day fair set to be held on Aug 18-23, 2026 at the Altamont Fairgrounds which is located in Altamont, New York and organized by Albany County Agricultural Society. The fair attracts over 90,000 visitors around the region. It features educational and agricultural events, various competitions and contests, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This is the 132nd edition of the event.
