Officially began in 1889, West Texas Fair & Rodeo is a 10-day fair scheduled to be held from September 10, 2026 (Thursday) to September 19, 2026 (Saturday) at the Expo Center of Taylor County in Abilene, Texas and organized by West Texas Fair Board. The fair will host over 125,000 visitors around the region. It offers agricultural and educational events, various competitions and contests, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This year, the fair will celebrate its 137th anniversary.
