Officially began in 1886, State Fair of Texas is a 24-day fair scheduled to be held from September 25, 2026 (Friday) to October 18, 2026 (Sunday) at the Dallas Fair Park in Dallas, Texas and organized by The State Fair of Texas. The fair attracts over 2,000,000 visitors around the region. It offers agricultural and educational events, various competitions and contests, over 150 commercial and food vendors, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This is the 140th edition of the event. Since its establishment, the Fair has promoted Texas agriculture, education, and community involvement through quality entertainment in a family-friendly environment.
