Officially began in 1864, Mower County Free Fair is a 6-day fair scheduled to be held from August 11, 2026 (Tuesday) to August 16, 2026 (Sunday) at the Mower County Fairgrounds in Austin, Minnesota and organized by Mower County Agricultural Society. Over 100,000 people around the region are expected to visit the fair. It offers agricultural and educational events, various competitions and contests, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This is the 162nd edition of the event.
