Officially began in 1872, Madison County Fair is a 6-day fair scheduled to be held from July 21, 2026 (Tuesday) to July 26, 2026 (Sunday) at the Madison County Fairgrounds in Highland, Illinois and organized by Madison County Fair Association. Over 215,000 people around the region are expected to visit the fair. It offers agricultural and educational events, various competitions and contests, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This year, the fair will celebrate its 154th anniversary.
