Officially began in 1852, Macoupin County Fair is a 5-day fair scheduled to be held from June 2, 2026 (Tuesday) to June 6, 2026 (Saturday) at the Macoupin County Fairgrounds in Carlinville, Illinois and organized by Macoupin County Fair Association. The fair will host over 20,000 visitors around the region. It offers agricultural and educational events, various competitions and contests, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This year, the fair will celebrate its 174th anniversary.
