Officially began in 1978, Putnam County Fair is a 9-day fair scheduled to be held from July 10, 2026 (Friday) to July 18, 2026 (Saturday) at the Putnam County Fairgrounds in Eleanor, West Virginia and organized by Putnam County Fair Association. The fair attracts over 30,000 visitors around the region. It offers agricultural and educational events, various competitions and contests, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This year, the fair will celebrate its 48th anniversary.
