Started in 1981, Franklin-Southampton County Fair is a 4-day fair set to be held on Aug 6-9, 2025 at the Southampton County Fairgrounds which is located in Courtland, Virginia and organized by Franklin-Southampton County Fair Board. The fair attracts over 20,000 visitors around the region. It features educational and agricultural events, various competitions and contests, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This year, the fair will celebrate its 44th anniversary.
