Officially began in 1982, Albemarle County Fair is a 3-day fair scheduled to be held from July 30, 2026 (Thursday) to August 1, 2026 (Saturday) at the James Monroe's Highland in Charlottesville, Virginia and organized by Albemarle County Fair Board. The fair attracts over 30,000 visitors around the region. It offers agricultural and educational events, various competitions and contests, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This year, the fair will celebrate its 44th anniversary.
