Officially began in 1908, Northwestern Michigan Fair is a 7-day fair scheduled to be held from August 9, 2026 (Sunday) to August 15, 2026 (Saturday) at the Northwestern Michigan Fairgrounds in Traverse City, Michigan and organized by Northwestern Michigan Fair Board. Over 40,000 people around the region are expected to visit the fair. It offers agricultural and educational events, various competitions and contests, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This year, the fair will celebrate its 118th anniversary.
