Founded in 1890, Washington County Fair is a 6-day fair scheduled to be held from July 19, 2026 (Sunday) to July 24, 2026 (Friday) at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Washington, Iowa and organized by Washington County Fair Association. The fair attracts over 19,000 visitors around the region. It offers agricultural and educational events, various competitions and contests, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This year, the fair will celebrate its 136th anniversary.
