Started in 1873, Buena Vista County Fair is a 5-day fair set to be held on Jul 8-12, 2026 at the Buena Vista County Fairgrounds which is located in Alta, Iowa and organized by Buena Vista County Agricultural Society. The fair will host over 13,000 visitors around the region. It features educational and agricultural events, various competitions and contests, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This year, the fair will celebrate its 153rd anniversary.
