Officially began in 1916, Kern County Fair is a 12-day fair scheduled to be held from September 23, 2026 (Wednesday) to October 4, 2026 (Sunday) at the Kern County Fairgrounds in Bakersfield, California and organized by Kern County Fair Board. The fair attracts over 300,000 visitors around the region. It offers agricultural and educational events, various competitions and contests, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This year, the fair will celebrate its 110th anniversary.
