Founded in 1954, DeKalb County VFW Fair is a 5-day fair scheduled to be held from October 21, 2025 (Tuesday) to October 25, 2025 (Saturday) at the DeKalb County VFW Fairgrounds in Fort Payne, Alabama and organized by DeKalb County Veterans of Foreign Wars. Over 40,000 people around the region are expected to visit the fair. It offers agricultural and educational events, various competitions and contests, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. This is the 70th edition of the event.
